Enchantress – Artist profile
Enchantress Is a gauteng based DJ. She started her journey in August 2017. Her first steps commenced at the soul candi music Institute as a student and was taught by one of Johannesburg’s iconic mentors Dj Clive Bean where she still continues to practice her craft. The love for music started at a very young age and has since multiplied as the years progress she added.
Since her journery started in August 2017 Enchantress has had the pleasure of playing at some amazing events, Queer Events, Rave events/ Festivals and club events in South Africa and Internationally. She has played amongst some amazing acts and still continues to grow day by day.

She has also played live at Soweto Tv, interviewed on a South African radio station Massive Metro and she was also interviewed by one of South Africans biggest newspaper in 2017 (Daily Sun).
Not only does Enchantress know her way around the ones and twos but she is also working on mastering the turntables as a professional turntablist. This multi talented human is a founder and instructor for Womxn only self-defense classes, yoga classes, twerking classes, she is a model and is a brand ambassador for a local South African brand (Hectic7) And a cannabis haircare and skincare product developer and distributor.
Enchantress has a deep love for broken beats which has led her to choose a sound that she considers out of this world. Drum and Bass/ Future bass/ Grime/ Alternative/ deep tech and Pop are the sounds you can expect to hear when she is behind the decks, from the time she was a young girl she only listened to the best kind of music and was always a discoverer of amazing music be it popular or underground.
Enchantress is a feminist and she hopes to create awareness to all other woman in the world about womans rights and power that woman hold. She hopes to use this valuable time to show other women out there that despite all odds they can make things happen and that no matter what your dreams are and in whatever field they might want to venture into they can make dreams come true. We as women have to put in a little bit more effort and work than men and also to put it into actual practice and make it work.
